What Are Junior and Senior Equine Skills?

Junior and Senior Equine Skills are structured courses designed to help riders develop practical horse care knowledge and skills. These programs provide a solid foundation for Pony Club members, whether or not they own or ride a horse, encouraging growth and understanding while fostering confidence in horse care and welfare.

Who Can Join?

Junior Equine Skills: Pony Club syllabus D to C levels. Recommended for younger Pony Club members starting their horse care journey.
Senior Equine Skills: Pony Club syllabus D+ to C+ and above. Recommended for older members 13 years and over who want to deepen their understanding and skills in horse care and management.

Each course offers:

Hands-On Learning: Practical tasks to develop real-world skills.
Comprehensive Workbooks: Step-by-step guides with activities, record of training, and worksheets for Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.

Course Costs

Workbooks: $50 for all three levels (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).

Complete the application form online via Nominate Events.
Receive your workbook and start your journey!

Member’s name
Date of birth
Club coach’s name
Club coach’s physical address (to receive the workbooks)
